Tis the season to be merry and bright and enjoy everything that the holidays bring. If you’re Down Under, then it’s beaches, sunshine, seafood on the BBQ with an ice cold beer. For our friends in the Northern hemisphere, crisp snow underfoot, a chill in the air, log fires, roast dinners and a sherry or three.
As greetings and gifts are exchanged, spare a thought for those less fortunate and consider how you can brighten up the lives of children living in poverty in India. This year why not BOGOF for Christmas?
That’s right, BOGOF…Buy One, Give One Free with Moeloco. An Aussie company designing flip flops (we call ’em thongs in Oz) that leave inspirational messages imprinted in the sand as the wearer walks along. Words like I am peace, happiness, live love, dream crazy, I’m Grateful and more to come .
Moeloco uses a simple business model based on the one-for-one concept to put shoes on impoverished children; through a collaboration with the Hope Foundation in Calcutta, Moeloco will donate one pair of shoes to an impoverished Indian child for every pair of flip flops sold.

With over 300 million children in developing countries who walk the world barefoot – they literally don’t have one pair of shoes. There’s a fair way to go but we’ve all gotta start somewhere.
So this holiday season do something good for your soul by buying some inspiration for your sole.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
